I think it's a Super Six. But maybe that's a variant of the Commodore? Anyhow, yes.

I myself was baffled a bit by Hudson's available lines, so went looking. The Super Six and Super Eight were apparently exactly the same lines as the Commodore Six and the Commodore Eight, just different trim spec. A 48 Commodore 8 four door would be essentially the same car as a Super Six four door, just different spec.

This breakdown isn't complete, but it highlights that a bit.

I have a ton of experience driving ancient cars across the country, and am a pretty great wrench. I can take a week off to do it, can be in Indy on a Sat, SF by mid week barring any disaster and driving slow. Why what is up? Need details man! Solo shot, meet up, support?

Details: just bought a Hudson Super Six restored by a known Hudson restorer from Indianapolis to San Francisco. Need to pick it up by July 18 but I am unusually slow now at work so would like to go asap. No wrenching expected but older cars can always lead to, uh, excitement.
